At Anticus, we consider culture something to be enjoyed and experienced, not just considered at a distance in academic terms. Bringing fine art into our family’s homes and offices and adding books to our nightstands enriches us in a way that reminds us of the words written 200 years ago by Romantic poet John Keats: “beauty is truth, truth beauty.” Culture brings both the world’s beauty and truth into our everyday lives.
As the holidays come into full swing, you’ve surely been making lists and checking them twice. In that spirit, here are two ideas that will make a perfect match – offering both beauty and intellectual connections for the people on your lists. Shopping locally at Anticus not only offers the advantage of experiencing your gift purchase firsthand, but we’ll also gift wrap it for that extra personalized touch.
It’s the time of year when the scents of pine and cinnamon and sounds of holiday music permeate the air – and gift giving is on everybody’s minds. Just like you, we at Anticus believe in removing (as much as possible) the anxiety that often comes with this process. You can shop much of our inventory right from the website or for the true Anticus experience stop by and explore.
We did it! This February is the one year anniversary for Desert Mountain Fine Art Gallery and we are going to celebrate! Phillip and I (Gabi) have spent more time in the gallery then we have at home but it is the best feeling to watch our vision become a reality.
